Motherhood am I doing this right book
Mary-Keith Piasecki is a mom of two who always knew she was meant to be a mom. It was on the forefront of her mind her entire life. She daydreamed and planned and perfected her future life. Until she actually became one and realized nothing is as easy as it seems. She shares her real and painful experience with losing family members and postpartum depression. Her ideal world of motherhood is comically far off from what unraveled in her actual life but she tried to use each experience to fuel her...to the next diastrophy.

She’s funny, she’s witty and she shares her stories in a way that pulls you in and you have to finish it. Follow along on her journey as she shares about her mistakes, losses, victories, and reality checks. Her honest and witty storytelling will have you wondering if she can read your mind and make you realize the things moms go through aren’t exclusive to you. In fact you may think she can read your thoughts. If you are a new mom, or about to be a new mom or maybe even a grandma, you’ll want to get this book. It’s going to be one to pass around to every new mom!

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Tina A

I am a fiction reader through and through. I couldn’t put this book down! Like stayed up way late reading and am paying for it today as I sleepily try to do the school thing with the kids. I laughed a lot. I even cried which I think I’ve only ever done one other time reading a book. I related to so much when I thought back to when I first became a mom. Way to go Mary. Umm impatiently waiting for a sequel - haha

What a well written book that is so relatable to everything in the adventures of motherhood. I love how reading her book felt like Mary was really there telling you her story. I read this book in 4 sitting because I couldn’t put it down (but had to because kids)! I laughed, I cried and related to so many of her experiences. I appreciated her opening up and being raw with the things she has gone through. It definitely made me feel like I’m not alone in this journey and the feelings I have felt that can make one feel lonely. Read this book!!

Could barely put this down. It was funny, sad at times , and really relatable! Motherhood is a rewarding but often scary and lonely journey. Its nice to know you are not the only one going through these things. Looking forward to seeing more from this author in the future!
